최근 옵티멈 Gold Standard 100% Whey 위조품이 불법 제조, 유통되어 영국, 독일, 스페인 등 유럽에서 발견되어 현재 옵티멈 제조사와 담당기관에서 조사중에 있습니다.

불법 제조된 제품들은 정품 옵티멈 제품들과 원료, 성분 자체가 다른 저급의 혹은 출처가 검증 되지 않은 원료로 만들어진 제품입니다.

정품 Gold Standard 100% Whey 제품의 효과 및 성분이 다른 제품이며 부작용 등에 대해 옵티멈에서 보상을 받을 수 없습니다.

건강과 직결되는 문제인 만큼 소비자와 판매자의 주의가 요구됩니다.

공인된 옵티멈 판매처가 아니거나 믿을수 없는 업체에서 구입을 삼가하시고 받으신 제품에 조금이라도 문제가 있는 경우 섭취를 중단하시고 구매처에 문의하시기 바랍니다.

현재까지는 유럽이외의 국가에서는 위조품이 판매가 확인이 되지 않고 있지만 제조사 자체적으로도 검사 중에 있다고 합니다.

저희 몬스터짐도 믿을 수 있는 제품들만 공급할 수 있도록 전 제품의 성분 및 유통과정에 신경을 쓰고 있고 거의 모든 제품 미국 제조사에서 직접 입고되고 있습니다.

현재 몬스터짐에서 판매되는 모든 옵티멈 제품 또한 미국 본사에서 직접 입고가 되는 제품임을 알려 드립니다.

CUSTOMER WARNING LETTER ON COUNTERFEIT PRODUCTS

Dear Valued Customer:

Optimum Nutrition has recently discovered that counterfeit Gold Standard 100% Whey is being illegally manufactured, distributed and sold to consumers in several European countries, including Germany, Spain, Austria, the United Kingdom and Romania.  In particular, these counterfeit products are being sold at a lower price than genuine ON products because they contain inferior ingredients and consequently contain significantly less protein than the amount reflected on the label.  As such, ON cannot guarantee the performance or quality of such counterfeit products.

Our investigations into these activities continue and we intend to take the strongest measures possible against those who are found to be counterfeiting our products and deceiving our customers and consumers.  However, we are communicating this release to our customers now in order to warn them.  Due to this issue, we can only guarantee the quality and efficacy of ON products purchased directly from us and/or the authorised distributors set forth in Annex A. 

We have written to the following resellers as we have reason to believe that they have been involved in the sale (whether knowingly or unknowingly) of counterfeit ON Gold Standard 100% Whey:

• UK ? Bodybuilding4you.co.uk / Vital max Limited and GS Nutrition Scotland;
• Germany ? Sportnahrung Lambertz;
• Spain ? Masproteina SL;
• Romania  - SC Esupliemente Clasic; and
• Austria ? Fitpro GmbH.

In our letter to each of the above resellers, we have demanded that they: (i) cease and desist from selling any ON product not purchased from an authorised distributor; (ii) provide us with information and documentation identifying, among other things, the source of their supply of ON products; (iii) destroy all known counterfeit ON Gold Standard 100% Whey products, and (iv) cooperate in our continuing investigation into counterfeiting activities in order to help us root out the problem and protect fraud on the consumers strongly discourages the purchase of products from unauthorised distributors and will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law anyone involved in counterfeiting our products.  We wish to work in partnership with our distributors and retailers to eliminate counterfeit activities and ensure the integrity of ON products and the ON brand as a whole.  Toward that end, we encourage you to share this letter with your customers and retailers in order to alert them to this serious matter and protect them and our consumers from fraud.  Your customers and retailers should be advised to only purchase ON products from an authorised distributor to ensure the authenticity of the ON product; and be encouraged to check their stocks and report any suspected counterfeit product directly to us.

ON is committed to making investments in the improvement of product tracking systems throughout all channels of the supply and distribution chain to allow for enhanced product traceability back to their respective packaging, manufacturing and reseller sources.ON will continue to invest significantly in the ongoing enhancement of these systems to more effectively confirm the authenticity of our products, segregate and identify counterfeit activity, and continue to uphold the integrity of the brand, as a whole.
